Aurora Collegiate Academy opened in Memphis in 2012 and is led by Ciji Pittman, a 2011–12 Tennessee Charter School Incubator fellow and former Teach For America teacher and director. Ciji is has pioneered a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Memphis. By sharing facilities, she ensures that her students have opportunities that extend beyond the school day.
