Gerber is a founder and partner of Gerber/Taylor Capital Advisors, Inc., and is a founder and chief executive officer of Gerber/Taylor Management Company. Prior to entering the investment business, Gerber served for six years in the U.S. Navy as a flight officer. He has been a public school reform advocate for many years, and presently serves on the board of KIPP Memphis and is a founding member of the board of directors of Promise Academy.
